Katie's Jaguar

For Christmas, we bought Katie a stuffed animal Jaguar from the dealership. It was too cute to pass up. She seems to agree as she's sleeping with it tonight and has named it Cheetah. Whatever.

The tag on the toy says that a certain amount of the proceeds go toward the Jaguar Conservation Trust which was set up by Jaguar North America — kind of a thank you for the use of its name. I'm not much of a "save the (insert animal name here)" type, but did think that the artwork was nicely done.
The late Sir William Lyons, founder of the company, chose the name 'Jaguar' as it signified feline grace and elegance, combining docility with remarkable power and agility. (media.ford.com)

No post on the mayo-in-oil debacle? Sad that you have to refer to the Ford site for Jag history. It's the way of the world.

No, I was too busy reading comments about Al Gore to write anything until now. :)

Seriously, the Jag's in the garage during Head Start's winter break. That'll make putting off the inevitable a little easier.
