Mystery Car XVI

About ten years ago, Sharon and I were traveling through the midwest running Vacation Bible School programs for small churches. After a memorable visit to a church in Michigan, we stopped at a nearby grocery store and parked next to a small woody station wagon. I looked all around the vehicle, but couldn't tell the make or model. Can you tell what it was?

1950 Ford Country Squire Wagon.

Well done! However, my source says you missed it by one year.

I stand corrected. I know that the 1950 model is highly prized by 'woody' aficionados. That grille is one of the most distinctive ever designed by Ford.
