Switch Gears for a Minute

It has been almost a year since the transmission of the red Saab blew on the way to the Father-Son Retreat at Camp Peniel. I had it towed home where it spent most of the year in the garage. But recently, I pulled it out to pull a few needed parts. The leather seats now serve as comfortable chairs in our basement. The headlights and spoiler will soon join the glove box door on eBay. But there are many parts available to a needy Saab owner. Know somebody in need of a low-mileage Saab 900 engine? It was replaced a year and a half ago with a junk yard pull with about 60,000 miles on it. The body is in very good shape as you can see from the picture. So, pass the word along to anybody whom this might help.

Having a parts car has enabled me to be a good steward of what I have been given. But it is time to move on.
